Let me begin by saying that the background coffee colour is really pleasing to look at. There is enough differentiation between the tube and Mickey's shoes and shorts. Mickey is drawn nicely, especially the shoes. I kind of wish that there was more separation between the shoe color and the tube color, they are a little to similar for me.
My only other suggestion is that the color flooding out of the tube seems relatively flat compared to the tube and Mickey which have a lot more dimension to their figures. I'd also like to see the colors have more "pop" as they lose their luster compared to the finely outlined Mickey and tube. I don't know watercolours well so that may be difficult! It could also be the loss of quality from the piece to digital photo. Either way it might interesting to see some white in the color explosion as well!
I love this piece and you have brought me back to when I was 8 and saw my first Mickey Mouse cartoon!
